149 in stock
PANELUX™ slat is an interior acoustic wood slat panel designed to reduce reflected sound and reverberation while adding the warmth and texture of a real wood veneer finish. Each panel measures 20.5" wide × 106.3" high × 0.86" thick (520 × 2700 × 22 mm) and covers approximately 15.13 sq. ft. Each panel combines MDF slats finished with real wood veneer with 9 mm recycled PET acoustic felt.
PANELUX™ slat has been independently tested for sound absorption and surface-burning performance and can be installed on suitable interior walls or ceilings using the appropriate PANELUX™ installation method.
Key Features
- Real Wood Veneer Finish: Real wood veneer over MDF slats provides natural wood character and architectural texture.
- Acoustic Performance: NRC 0.50 when mounted directly against a solid surface using the tested Mount A configuration. Higher tested NRC results are available with specific furring and insulation assemblies.
- 9 mm Recycled PET Acoustic Felt: The felt backing contributes to sound absorption and helps reduce reflected sound and reverberation within the room.
- 9-Foot Panel Height: Each panel measures 106.3" high, allowing many walls to be covered floor-to-ceiling with fewer horizontal joints.
- Panel Size and Coverage: 20.5" W × 106.3" H × 0.86" D, covering approximately 15.13 sq. ft. per panel.
- Independent Fire Testing: Tested by Intertek in accordance with CAN/ULC-S102.2-18. Flame Spread 60 / Smoke Developed 220.
